I’m Justin Arnold, Head of Content at ScaleMath. I’ve been working as a copywriter and editor for three years, previously running my own successful copywriting agency for seven years (which ranked #1 and #2 on Google, Bing, and Yahoo for many of the top SEO copywriting searches at the time!)

Before moving into copywriting, I worked as a secondary school teacher for 25 years, initially teaching English, and then moving into IT and Computer Science, in which capacity I worked as both a Head of Department for 10 years, and the Regional Specialist for Computer Science Teacher Training across East Yorkshire, Humberside, and North Lincolnshire.

I’ve written several books, both fiction and non-fiction, and am a keen programmer, developing a wide range of apps and games. I also maintain an educational channel on YouTube that’s used by schools around the world, teaching a variety of programming languages and IT skills.

When not at my computer, I enjoy going on long walks in the countryside with my dog, Kodo, or trying valiantly to be an embarrassing dad with an endless stream of corny jokes to keep my teenage son groaning.

I live in a small village in Yorkshire where I am most commonly known as the local stormtrooper, having run 1,000 miles wearing a screen-authentic stormtrooper costume, as well as climbing Mount Snowdon in full armour.

I can trace my family tree back to Sir Warinus de la Strode, who fought at the Battle of Hastings in 1066 (on the winning side). I also drink tea. Earl Grey. Hot.
